Up for sale is a 1929 Ford Model A Roadster PROJECT. There is no motor or transmission. It was a hot rod back in the 1950s. Was stored in a barn for most of the last 40 years or more.

The body has a good sub-frame and the original floor is still in it.  I have a new outer panel for the rumble seat lid
(not installed) and a new lower panel below the rumble lid. It doesn't appear to need the usual patch panels all around the bottom but will need some patching. The doors are rusted out at the bottom. The rear fenders are junk. There are no front fenders, hood or headlights. This is and has always been a real roadster.

It has 2 dash panels, tie panel below the windshield and 2 new windshield post mounts. The windshield post are nice old chrome and would need re-chroming for show.

The car is located in Mooresville, NC. You can call me for an appointment to see it between 8 AM and 8 PM (EST)  My cell # is (704)-799-5041. I am selling to get a new roof on my house. Sold with a bill of sale.

Vauxhall Astra & Astra Sports Tourer get BiTurbo diesel

Wed, 01 Aug 2012

Vauxhall has decided to bolt their BiTurbo diesel engine in to the Astra Hatch and the Astra Sports Tourer. Vauxhall revealed last month that the Astra GTC was getting the frugal but lively 2.0 litre CDTi BiTurbo engine, offering a tempting combination of 53mpg official economy and sub 8 second 0-62mph performance. With levels of economy unthinkable just a few years ago combined with performance a hot hatch would have been proud of, the BiTurbo Astra GTC is a clever combination.

2009 Nissan GT-R Review

Sun, 04 Jan 2009

Cars UK [rating:5.0] The electrifying Nissan GT-R [ad#ad-1] Car makers who produce mass-market cars dream of having a ‘halo’ car, a car which showcases the extreme abilities of the maker and gets accepted as a supercar in its own right. It’s a hard thing to pull off, and usually ends up as a great car, but with little or no kudos. A recent examples of failure in this area is VW with the Phaeton.

MOT test scrapped for Classic Cars

Mon, 21 May 2012

MOTs scrapped for Classic Cars The Department for Transport has announced it is scrapping MOT tests for cars registered before 1960. In a move that probably won’t make much difference to owners – but will at least cut down on red tape – the Department of Transport has announced that from 18th November 2012 owners of cars registered before 1960 will no longer require an annual MOT. The argument for the change is that owners of classic and historic cars have a much lower accident and MOT failure rate than other vehicles on the road.
