 Carter BB-1 carb.   2  11/16" center to center on mounting.   Adjustable main jet for use on 4, 6 or 8 cyl. vehicles.   Excellent condition.   Has been COMPLETELY disassembled, cleaned and put back together finger tight so you can install the new rebuilding kit yourself (takes 30 minutes--I don't want the insurance liability of doing rebuilding).  Totally complete.  Includes adjustable main jet,  NEW accelerator pump and power valve springs,  NEW throttle arm,  NEW cable pull connection for throttle, NEW ethanol compatible gaskets and needle and seat rebuilding kit.  NEW correct fillister head machine screws throughout.   I have a 200 BB-1 carbs and can supply any mounting bolt or linkage requirement.  I also have several N.O.S.  BB-1 carbs as well as BB-2 carbs.   We also mfg. a number of new parts for Carter BB-1's as well as for other updraft carbs.   See us at Vintage Carburetor Ltd. or call 440-786-8141 for further information.

The new BMW X1 on the road for the first time The X1 is designed to be a proper, compact SUV, aimed at a younger market, with less to spend, than most of BMW’s current offerings. Based on the 1 series platform, this shot seems to look exactly like the concept car (BMW X1 Concept gallery at the end). Not sure about the brown paint job, though.

Toyota has unveiled its new Le Mans challenger, the TS030 Hybrid. The TS030 name designates this car as the successor to the TS010 and TS020 (better known at the GT-One) which competed at Le Mans in the 1990s – TS stands for Toyota Sport. What?

College Exhibition: RCA/VW - Day and Night

Vehicle Design students at the Royal College of Art in London, UK, started work on a project sponsored by Volkswagen in October last year. Asked to research and visualize future market sectors and the needs, aspirations and desires of potential users; VW's brief to the students was to create a vehicle which had an innovative, integrated interior to reflect the research the students conducted, in a space that had equal value both in the daytime and at night. The brief also called for new space concepts for the person/machine interface through new functions and new packaging of components.
