Here up for sale is a CARTER 4 BBL CARBURETOR WITH THE NUMBER 7044266 ON THE CARBURETOR BODY. THE BOOK SHOWS THIS TO BE FOR 1974 Pontiac FIREBIRD Quadrajet 4BBL carburetor for a automatic transmission car. But should work on a Manual if you plug the vacuum ports.May work on other pontiacs oldsmobile Buick as well Like the GTO GS 442 .. The date code on the carb is the L3 MP. Someone bought it as a replacement unit and has kept it in excellent shape. It has a rebuild tag on it as I included a picture of stating it was rebuilt by Holly at one time. THE INLET THREADS LOOK GOOD.Quadrajet 4 barrel spreadbore carburetor with a climatic choke. This carburetor is for a 1973-74 Pontiac with engine size 350,400 or 455.The OEM# that's stamped on the side of the carburetor is 7044266.
Before buying this carburetor I recommend that you do your research on the application that you need and that you look at the pictures carefully before buying this carburetor.
.. If you are looking for that correct carb for a really nice car, this is it. Date coded carbs are difficult to find and this is a great alternative that will keep the numbers correct on your car. It is functions properly and all throttle plates and flaps work properly. It appears to be in nice shape and has good color plating on it. I have not cleaned it up or sprayed it off. I did not want to effect the finish/plating. The finish you see has dust and dirt from sitting around. SO GRAB IT IF YOU NEED IT..Please ask any question and I will respond ASAP.

Fri, 05 Jul 2013Hyundai let a troop of 4 & 5 year olds loose on an i30 to test quality Last year, Hyundai let a troop of 40 safari park baboons loose on an i30 to see if, left to their own devices, they could trash Hyundai’s very well bolted together (just ask Martin Winterkorn) i30. It was a clever way to demonstrate that the i30 doesn’t just look good, but is made of a bit more than recycled baked bean cans and Fairy liquid bottles. The i30 came through the baboon test with flying colours (even the company tasked with cleaning it up after the baboons commented on the story that they were impressed by how unscathed the i30 was), but Hyundai has now come up with a quality test that makes the baboon adventure look like a walk in the (safari) park.

The cars, which will role out across Sweden in 2012, will be manufactured by Volvo, with Vattenfall developing the charging systems and supplying the cars with electricity. Vattenfall will be offering customers the chance to sign an agreement for renewable electricity sourced from windpower or hydropower.
