Around April 12, I have a friend heading to Illinois, down to Mississippi, back up to Illinois, on to Pennsylvania, and up to New York before heading back to Montana with stops in Michigan and Wisconsin. He is willing to deliver this box anywhere along his route for $100 as long as he does not have to go very far from the Interstate Highway system.

This is the very hard to find "wide box" for a later 1931 Model A Ford pickup truck. This larger and taller version was introduced around June of 1931 at about the same time Ford started using a steel top on the pickup and truck closed cab bodies. This box is quite similar to the 1932 pickup box except the 1932 version does not have the very distinctive curved arch at the top of the front panel.

The worst part of this box has to be the floor that is rusted through in some places. If you have any idea where to get a better or reproduction floor, please let me know so I can post a note here.

Top Gear tackles the 'Road of Death' in Bolivia It may be Christmas, but at least we still get a new episode of Top Gear this Sunday – Episode 6 of series 14. But be warned; it’s on at yet another time slot – 7.45pm BBC2 – but that’s because it’s 75 minutes long instead of the regular one hour. This week is a Top Gear special with the boys tackling a journey across Bolivia in a quest to reach the coast of Chile.

Arabian horse inspires bespoke Rolls Royce Phantom Mirage [w/gallery]

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

Rolls-Royce has created a bespoke Phantom Coupé named Mirage, inspired by the powerful Arabian stallion of the same name that became famous during the 1920s and ‘30s. The one-off car, designed for the United Arab Emirates market, features a matte black exterior with horse's head incorporated into its coachline detail, a motif that continues into the Mugello Red and black interior. There is also silver detailing such as the rope inlay on the front fascia and door capping.

Fiat Panda 100HP Review & Road Test (2010) Part 2

Mon, 13 Sep 2010

The Fiat Panda 100 HP Road Test   If you’re going to judge a book by its cover, then the Fiat Panda 100hp is shouting all the things I like in a car from the rooftops. But shouting about your abilities just isn’t my cup of tea – far better to speak softly and carry a big stick. The Panda 100HP is all about bulging wheel arches; red callipers; fake diffuser; big alloys; the ‘Look at me I’m Sporty’ school of car design.
