The Rinspeed Dock–Go Concept car, devised by Frank M. Rinderknecht, will make its debut at next month’s Geneva motor show. It adds a 'backpack' to the Smart ForTwo city car, which can be changed depending on the needs of the driver, while a hybrid pack increases the operating range of the vehicle.

Jaguar Land Rover are creating 800 new jobs at their Solihull plant as they reveal record sales for 2012 of 335,000 vehicles. The end of last week saw Honda plans to cut 800 jobs as the European market for Honda fizzled under a cloud of economic gloom, but no such problems at Jaguar Land Rover. Jaguar Land Rover has revealed plans for 800 new jobs at Solihull (following on from 1,000 new jobs last March, 1100 new jobs last July and 1000 new jobs in November 2011),  after revealing record sales across the globe in 2012, selling an impressive 335,000 vehicles.

The 2014 Facleift for the Dacia Duster in Europe (*pictured) has been revealed The UK hasn’t had the Dacia Duster for very long, mainly because it was selling so well in Europe Renault couldn’t manage to build right hand drive versions. And it looks like much the same scenario will play out with the Dacia Duster facelift – revealed today in full before Frankfurt – with it rolling out in Europe but with no immediate plans to bring it to the UK.
