Jaguar C-X75 Hybrid Supercar back in the spotlight
Tue, 25 Jun 2013Jaguar release new photos of the C-X75 Supercar A few days ago we heard that the hybrid underpinnings of the canned Jaguar C-X75 were going to find their way in to the F-Type to produce a 700bhp monster. We had our doubts about that, but it does seem clear that Jaguar are not going to let the C-X75 just disappear in to oblivion. For reasons probably known only to Jaguar, they’ve suddenly decided to release a new set of photos (above) of the very good looking C-X75 in a fetching shade of blue – a better look than the pale metallic paint job on all the photos we’ve seen so far – despite the project being shelved.
Ferrari 365 GTB/4 For Sale. Driven by a Prince & a Hamster
Thu, 31 Mar 2011The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 We have to confess that the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 – aka the Ferrari Daytona – is one of our favourite Ferraris. The Ferrari Daytona marked the start of the modern age of Ferrari for us; the end of the bulbous cars that went before and ended with the glorious 250 GTO, the Daytona was sleek and modern and as sexy as hell. Even those who don’t know one Ferrari from another would probably know the Daytona from its starring role in many a film – A Star is Born, The Long Goodbye, Gone in 60 Seconds and many more – or from the Miami Vice TV series (although that was a replica).
Photos reveal the all-new Ford Mustang -- of 1979
Fri, 28 Mar 2014If you need further proof that everything old is new again, just look at the engine options for the upcoming 2015 Ford Mustang. That optional 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four is generating a lot of buzz; it's expected to help keep the car sporty while cutting down on fuel consumption, and it's going to help the Mustang make headway in overseas markets. Adding a turbo-four to the pony car equation isn't exactly novel: The Blue Oval put a forced-induction motor with the same cylinder count, configuration and displacement in the 1979 Mustang.
