NOS, AC Rebuilt Fuel Pump. AC number: 2527, GM number: 5620012. This New Old Stock AC rebuilt fuel pump is in very nice condition in original box. The label on the box says Factory Rebuilt. It has the AC logo embossed on the inside top of the glass bowl. On the bottom is number 1523089. Also stamped is Rebuilt for AC. The tag has number 2527. The plunger and thumb screw on top has a little rust on it. Box is fair, flap torn off. According to my extensive collection of AC fuel pump catalogs, it is for the following applications: STUDEBAKER PASSENGER CAR: 1939-1954 Champion (does not say if 6 cylinder, 8 cylinder). STUDEBAKER TRUCKS: 1941-1945 model M15.  1947-1948 models M5, M15A.  1949-1953 models 2R5, 2R10, 2R15.  1954 models 3R5, 3R10. 3R15.  1955-1961 models E5, E10 (6 cylinder). On the above Truck models it does not say if 6 cylinder, 8 cylinder, except as noted.  As with anything, please check YOUR application before bidding. Because of age, cannot guarantee working condition. I acquired this and many more fuel pumps from a long closed Garage. Are you restoring and showing your Classic Studebaker? EU PLANS to introduced remote stopping devices that can be activated by the police in an emergency have been met with concern by drivers. Under the proposed legislation a six-year timetable for remote stopping devices is planned with the aim of police being able to bring dangerous high-speed car chases to a halt. A device would be fitted to all cars that would allow a central control room to cut the ignition and fuel supply of any vehicle.
