  Listed here is a 1949 Chrysler Glove Box Door Latch (non-locking), complete with Bezel and mounting screws. (Note: this latch is not a lock and does not use a key.)  If you are not wanting to waste time nor expense to have keys made for an old lock, this non-locking  push-button saves ever having to worry over finding a working key for the glove box.  Antique cars usually do not need a locking glove box door.  Latch itself is NOS/NORS only fastened to this Bezel as first time assembled.  Bezel may be NOS and appears so but don't know for sure.  It had a little dirt but no other evidence of prior use, just appears very excellent chrome.

The Honda HR-V small SUV (pictured) debuts at Paris 2014 If the Honda HR-V name sounds familiar, that’s because Honda has already made an HR-V – a small supermini SUV – which arrived in 1999-  but disappeared a few years later before the world fell in love with small, funky SUVs like the Nissan Juke and MINI Countryman. So having been in the small SUV market ahead of the curve – and dropping out again before the market took off – Honda has decided it’s time to bag a share of the seemingly ever-growing small SUV market – a market worth getting on for 100,000 sales a year in the UK – which means only one thing – an all new Honda HR-V. Due to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show next month, Honda are billing the HR-V as a concept, but as far as we can see it’s pretty much production ready, and will arrive in Honda’s UK showrooms in summer 2015.

Chinese brands are narrowing the quality gap with foreign automakers

When it comes to vehicle quality, domestic Chinese brands are catching up to their global peers, according to the 2010 China Initial Quality Study published by J.D. Power and Associates. The consultancy found that the quality gap between domestic and foreign brands has reached its narrowest margin in the survey's 11-year history.

The Audi A1 quattro snow testing in Canada It did seem a strange omission by Audi not to have a quattro drivetrain for the ‘Only Premium Brand in its Sector’ Audi A1. And it was that lack of a quattro system for the A1 which apparently stopped the car that ended up being the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI from being launched as the Audi S1 at Paris last year. All of which has no doubt spurred Audi on to see development of a quattro platform for the A1.
