Bid is for a couple reproduction parts for a 1955 Ford speedometer. Included is a new tinted dome cover & a new speedometer face plate with MPH numbers & fuel oil gen & temp letters. Parts are new & have not been installed. Shipping in the lower 48 is free. All other locations to pay actual shipping costs.
Shipping. I will send an invoice in one business day of auction end. All parts are shipped USPS or UPS on large or heavy items. I will combine shipping when ever possible. Let me know if bidding on items that don't end on the same day. I offer international shipping on most items. International parts will be shipped USPS Priority Mail. It seems likely that the new SLK will come with a new set of engines, with more than a passing nod to eco-concerns. In will come a 1.6 litre, four-pot supercharged engine that will pick up the mantle from the old 1.8 litre Kompressor engine – same power – or more – with lower emissions and better economy.
Mobile phones set to be biggest roads killer
Wed, 23 Jul 2014MOBILE PHONES are likely to be the number one cause of fatal collisions on the UK’s roads by 2015. The number of drivers making calls, texting and using social media while driving has risen dramatically, which has led Transport Minister Patrick McLoughlin to propose doubling the number of penalty points added to a driver’s licence if caught using a mobile phone while at the wheel. Figures from the Department for Transport show there were 378 accidents in 2012 that were directly attributed to mobile phone use, with 17 deaths recorded as a result.
