This is an original chrome hardtop front clamp or latch complete with the "J" hook which was used on 1956 Thunderbirds produced beginning in May, 1956 and all 1957 Thunderbirds. This latch fits either the RH or LH front side. It has excellent original chrome throughout except for one small spot which is covered by your sun visor (see the second picture). This side clamp will also fit all 1955 Thunderbird and early production 1956 Thunderbird hardtops. Perfect for replacing a missing or damaged hardtop chrome clamp. 2015 Suzuki Vitara revealed – the Vitara returns!
Wed, 27 Aug 2014The new Suzuki Vitara – debuts at the Paris Motor Show When the Suzuki iV-4 Concept was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, in the spring, we knew it previewed a new model from Suzuki rather than a replacement for a model in its current range. But what we didn’t know is that Suzuki would revive a familiar badge for the production version of the iV-4 Concept, but they have with the arrival of the new 2015 Suzuki Vitara. The new Vitara isn’t too far off the iV-4 Concept in looks – just a bit more ‘production and a bit less ‘Concept’ – and will come with front-wheel-drive as standard, but you will be able to spec a new Vitara up with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP 4WD and a selection of engines offering ‘outstanding’ fuel economy.
Vauxhall Astra VXR (2012) gets 282bhp + new GTC photos
Fri, 24 Sep 2010Astra GTC Concept Paris Vauxhall sneaked us a peek at the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR a couple of weeks ago – slightly titivated and called the Astra GTC Concept admittedly – but the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR none the less. And we ran the story, even though there was precious little to say beyond they’d turned the ‘blades’ round on the doors to make it look more butch and that it’d turn up when the 3 door Astra does in a years time. But Vauxhall has decided to throw a little more out there, so we get images of the interior and some firm (ish) news on the oily bits.
