In addition to studying automotive design at Art Center College of Design, student Mason Watson also runs his own automotive clothing company called Cars For A Cure Apparel. Set up a year ago, the venture was established in honor of Watson's mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2008. Hyundai will introduce dual-clutch and continuously variable transmissions to models for the United States as early as next year as it seeks to become a leader in fuel efficiency, a top executive says. This will be the first application of a dual-clutch transmission for Hyundai. The transmission--which uses two clutches to shift a manual gearbox as if it were an automatic--is more efficient than either a traditional manual or automatic gearbox.

The best four submissions – the Brabus Widestar, Urban Whip, Pikes Peak Rally Racer and Rock Crawler - were displayed at SEMA. And presumably scared a lot of showgoers senseless.
