This is a complete license light assembly with body, gasket, lens retainer and socket with wiring which was used on all 1957 and 1958 Mercurys.  This same license lite assembly was used on 1957 Thunderbirds.  The Thunderbird lens retainer was chrome plated rather than the cadmium plating used on the Mercury unit.  The license lite body has "ML-57....FoMoCo" stamped under the light socket hole.  The original plastic lens has "ML-57...FoMoCo" raised in the plastic.  The plastic lens is in excellent used condition with no cracks but does have a small mark in the lens.  Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or aftermarket license light assembly with an assembly line original.   Payment is expected within 10 days of the close of the auction. GMC to add Denali version of Acadia

Look for more bling from the rough-and-tough GMC brand. The Acadia crossover will get a Denali trim, joining the Yukon SUV and Sierra light- and heavy-duty trucks, said Lisa Hutchinson, GMC product marketing director. The Acadia will get features such as an upgraded grille, 20-inch available wheels, body-colored rocker panels, ambient lighting and interior trim.

Like it or not, BMW's front-wheel future is trundling our way fast: The new 2-series Active Tourer, a front-wheel-drive MPV powered by a range of transverse-mounted three- and four-cylinder motors made its official debut Tuesday at the Geneva motor show. There wasn't much we didn't know about the 2-series Active Tourer ahead of the show -- catch yourself up with our full breakdown -- but seeing it in the steel drove home the point that this thing is happening, and we're powerless to stop it. It won't be all bad, though.

Ford has released first details of the new C-Max which will debut at Frankfurt Ford has released some detail of the new C-Max, which is the first car from Ford to use the next generation Ford Focus platform, and will come as either a five or seven seat car. Not only will the new C-Segment platform be used here in the C-Max, but it will also see use in not just the next generation Focus, but also in the eventual replacement for the Ford Kuga. The C-Max will very sensibly stick with the multi-link rear suspension that has given the current generation Focus such great driving dynamics, and it will also feature Ford’s 1.6 litre Ecoboost engine, which is equipped with a turbo and direct injection for improved economy and efficiency.
