Here's the story on this. I had, for many years, a custom 59 Elcamino. I bought quite a few extra parts to have as backup, in case it ever got hit or damaged. Luckily, it never did. Now that I sold it, the new owner didn't want backup parts like I did. So I'm offering them here. These hinges were never installed by me. Go by pictures, if you want them. No guarantees. In big parts, I have both front fenders (inner and outer), both doors, both bumpers, both new full lower quarter skins, tailgate, front and rear glass, vent windows, and then a ton of small parts. Mercedes removed Lieb over compliance issue, report says

Daimler AG dismissed Mercedes-Benz USA chief Ernst Lieb for violations of human resources and ethics policies relating to household expenses paid by the automaker, The Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing sources close to the company. Lieb was abruptly removed as head of the automaker's second-largest market on Oct. 17 after more than 30 years at Daimler.

Winners announced in Chinese Auto Design Awards 2011

Winners in the fourth Chinese Auto Design Awards have finally been announced. Held at the China Agriculture Film and Television Center in Beijing, the glamourous ceremony saw awards given to two groups; students and automotive manufacturers. Amongst the automotive groups, it was GAC Trumpchi that was awarded the ‘Best Design Innovation Award', whilst Buick's picked up the ‘Golden Dot Award' for its ‘Envision' concept car.
