Chinese brands are narrowing the quality gap with foreign automakers
Wed, 03 Nov 2010When it comes to vehicle quality, domestic Chinese brands are catching up to their global peers, according to the 2010 China Initial Quality Study published by J.D. Power and Associates. The consultancy found that the quality gap between domestic and foreign brands has reached its narrowest margin in the survey's 11-year history.
Wolfgang Egger outlines Audi's future design strategy

The carmaker's head of design Wolfgang Egger believes that a closer cohesion of the car's exterior and interior will create a ‘seamless entity' to help differentiate its models. The first example of the strategy is Audi's latest show car, the Crosslane Coupe, revealed at the Paris motor show in September.
Grand National Roadster Show takes on new judging rules, rodding wins
Mon, 31 Jan 2011Daryl Wolfswinkel's 1934 Ford, built by Doug Jerger of Squeeg's Kustoms in Chandler, Ariz., won the title America's Most Beautiful Roadster on Sunday at the Grand National Roadster Show at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. That in itself was not necessarily the biggest news out of Pomona last weekend, however. In a hobby/passion/love affair such as hot-rodding, you'd expect a '32, '33 or '34 Ford to win.
