This is a great addition to any Corvette show car or daily driver and a great way to protect your investment. The pin/flag will prevent the hood support from unlatching if blown by the wind or bumped by a spectator, judge or yourself. This Safety Pin/Flag works great for Bloomington Gold, NCRS, NCCC, Show and Shine or any other form of judging. It will also keep your hood open when working under the hood in the garage. I started selling these at Corvette meets several years ago after watching a1971Corvette hood slam down and crack at a meet in Texas. This pin is a smaller version of the “Remove Before Flight” pins used on Air Force aircraft. Don’t stick a bolt or screw driver through your hood support, use this durable high quality embroidered flag. Simply slip the clevis pin in the hood support hole and place the hitch pin into the clevis pin all of which are interconnected for safety and convenience. BMW Welt hosts 'Line of Beauty' exhibition
Wed, 26 Oct 2011The BMW museum is playing host to a special exhibition entitled ‘The Line of Beauty', which takes a trip through the history of the ‘big' BMW coupes and convertibles. The flagship BMW coupes and convertibles have an illustrious past and most are icons in their own right. The exhibition features 14 individual exhibits that span from the pre-war 327 and 327/28 Convertible and Coupe through to the current F12/13 6-Series.

Mon, 13 Sep 2010Teh Lexus CT 200h has emissions of just 96g/km We have to go with the flow on this because, although we have no faith in the assertion that man is responsible for climate change, for as long as Governments penalise and promote cars based on the emissions of CO2 from their tailpipe (I know, it’s barking) we have to accept that car makers will respond to that stick and carrot. Which is why we see a raft of car makers churning out ‘Eco’ cars with a 99g/km emissions figure, as sub-100g/km of CO2 emissions is the Holy Grail for maximising tax effiecencies. Of course, Lexus has gone a step further and seem intent on producing only hybrid cars as soon as possible.
More than 800 cars apply for Monterey Motorsports Reunion
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Shelby Cobra, and more than 800 applications for participation have been received. There will be 17 race groups at the track Aug. 17-19, but participation is limited to 550 cars.
