Chrome horn ring part number 1551470. I found this part number referencing 1961 1962 Studebaker, not sure if this is correct or if so, which models. But it came from a Studebaker guy, so it probably is Studebaker. This shines quite nice and is not broken or damaged. It does have some pits and normal scratches like old parts do. Quite usable for a driver type car. The center plastic piece is worn, scratched and does not look very good, so that is the worst part of this combo. Look close. Rare parts, low prices. See my other auctions.

I am totally parting out a 46 47 48 Plymouth 4 door. Watch my upcoming auctions for parts and ask if there is anything specific you want listed.

Lighter parts are sent by USPS. Heavier parts are sent by Fed Ex. I live in the country and Fed Ex has recently moved farther away still. So, I have to drive 25 miles there and back, or pay them $4 per package to stop here. Bubble wrap, tape and packaging materials cost money. I sell my parts at a low price, and sometimes lose money after shipping and fees. I don't "pad" my shipping costs, but try to at least break even. If the actual cost is somewhat less, I always issue a refund. Thanks for understanding.

Porsche Cayenne Diesel TECHART launched

The TECHART Porsche Cayenne Diesel offers some useful power upgrades But some modifiers do get it right – particularly in the performance stakes. Some of Gemballas’s Porsche Cayenne Tornado cars offer spectacular performance, if not always the most tasteful of body mods. But time are a changing, and modifiers are starting to look at the Porsche Cayenne Diesel as a good way forward.

Tesla takes a swipe at BMW & Audi

Sun, 08 Dec 2013

Tesla’s design boss, Franz von Holzhausen, says the BMW i3 is an IKEA car We’ve long been of the opinion that electric cars, certainly with the current levels of battery technology, can never be a replacement for an ICE car. But we do have soft spot for what Tesla are doing. That’s because Tesla has tackled the issues of electric cars in  the cleverest way possible by building a car (the Model S) that looks like a normal luxury car – rather than making it look odd or quirky just to ram home its difference – and made it travel a sensible distance on a single charge.
