DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a very nice glove box door removed from a mid 60s Mercury Comet with Deluxe trim. The chrome has very little, if any pitting and only has signs of pin sized spotting from sunlight and slight scratches. The release is a locking button (missing key). I have been told that these are not key specific and any Ford glove box key from this era should work. It comes with a nice wire catch and hinge mounting hardware. It also has very nice looking wood grain insert. This is perfect for that daily driver, but would require restoration for show quality.

Winners of the 2013 Michelin Design Challenge announced
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Michelin presented the three winners of the 2013 Michelin Challenge Design at its private Designers' Reception during of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit's Renaissance Center. A jury of automotive designers and industry experts picked the winners from the 15 finalists that best explored how design contributes to and impacts the ongoing effort to develop more efficient vehicles, while keeping the emotional side of car design front of mind. This year's top three finalists are Jorge Biosca (Spain), Liu Shun (China) and Song Wei Teo (Singapore).

Kia Pro_Cee’d GT Turbo teased
Mon, 26 Nov 2012The Kia Pro Cee’d GT – complete with the 1.6 litre petrol turbo from the Veloster with 200bhp – is being teased by Kia. We reported last month that Kia are planning to put the 200bhp, 1.6 litre Turbo from the Hyundai Veloster in to the new Pro_cee’d three door to create a hot little coupe, and now Kia has caught up with that news with the first tease for the Pro_cee’d GT. It’s probably best to take the teaser photo of the Pro_cee’d GT with a pinch of salt – it’s a typically extreme rendering of the car we’ll actually get – but it does demonstrate that Kia want to differentiate the Pro_cee’d GT from the more prosaic models.
