This steering wheel is a rare original part from that was not available for purchase in the United States. The steeing wheel is in fantastic orginal condition other than minor chippinf in the finish. The grip feels like new, the original horn button works as it should, and the horn contact is in place.

Meguiar still recovering from viral infection

TV host and car collector Barry Meguiar remains hospitalized in Monterey, Calif., recovering from a viral infection, but his condition is improving, a spokeswoman said on Wednesday. Meguiar, 67, was said to be in stable condition last week. On Wednesday, the spokeswoman said Meguiar was still on the mend and was awake.

Six further examples will be built by Jaguar Heritage and sold as period competition vehicles, using previously unused chassis numbers to give them true authenticity. In 1963 Jaguar started the 'Special GT E-type' programme to build 18 lightweight racers, but only 12 were ever made.
