Here is a set of truly unique running boards. These running boards are completely handmade by a machine shop, and are one of a kind. They attach normally, just as stock running boards would. They are made from heavy duty steel. They can be used as is, or can be sanded down and repainted to the color of your liking. Will fit most all vintage Vw Beetles. They were originally on a '71 Standard Beetle. I included a picture of them on the car. Bidding starts at $100. Happy Bidding everyone!

Salon Privé 2011: Night Shift

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

Salon Prive does a Night Shift for the Pommery Picnic It may be a bit of an exagerration to say that Salon Privé – one of our favourite ‘Car’ outings – is going to include a night shift in 2011 – but almost. Salon Prive’s move from the Hurlingham in Chelsea out to the less central – but more hospitable – Duke of Northumberland’s gaff at Syon Park means there’s room to expand the event, so we’re getting treated to the ‘Pommery Picnic’ on the Friday evening – 7pm ’til 11pm. As we never fail to mention when we bang on about Salon Prive, it’s just like a Garden Party in a wealthy friend’s house where he just happens to have littered the grounds with the world’s greatest cars.

Radical new group-based car insurance scheme

Wed, 02 Jul 2014

REX Innovation and car insurance aren’t entirely strange bedfellows. After all, the concept of ‘black box’ insurance that uses a device to monitor you as you drive has taken off so fast it could well become mandatory in the future. But it’s still unusual to come across something truly revolutionary.
