Honda Vezel crossover arrives at the Tokyo motor show

For the record, Vezel rhymes with "bezel," and it's the name of Honda's long suspected Fit-based crossover. Honda showed off the new Vezel hybrid model at the Tokyo motor show, though the production model set to launch in Japan in December will also be available with a straight-gasoline 1.5-liter direct-injected engine also. Other details are still slim, but the company did claim a "Sport Hybrid i-DCD" powertrain will get a stronger engine and most likely a dual-clutch transmission with integrated electric motor.

The new tech - including gesture control, next-gen voice control and intelligent windscreens - was shown at an event in Whiteley, where Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) also announced details of its new four-cylinder engines.  So what should we expect from Jags and Landies of the future? Danger from driving with flu

DRIVING while suffering from the flu can put motorists at risk as many are unaware that many cold and flu remedies contain alcohol and can have serious side effects. Two thirds of drivers (64%) say they have driven after taking medication to treat a heavy cold or flu and 13% say they have experienced side effects when driving. The study by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) says drivers are risking drowsiness and reduced levels of concentration when under using these drugs.
