Factory fresh air intake duct in fender behind battery for a 1975-1981 Trans Am, Formula, or Firebird with a factory Pontiac 350, 400, or 455 engine. This part was also used on the Oldsmobile 403 engine. Part #489916. It mounts to the inner fender and goes behind the battery. It picks up fresh air from under the radiator core support and brings it up to the top edge of the battery. It is then hooked to another plastic part that changes from triangular to round. From there it hooks to a hose that mounts to the air cleaner. This duct is in good condition with normal wear but no damage. Great for a driver or for restoration. Cadillac ELR recall targets stability control software issues

According to NHTSA, the software for the car's electronic stability control system may inhibit certain ESC functions, and fail to alert the driver than ESC is partially or fully disabled. This could potentially give the driver no warning that ESC may be off entirely, which could result in a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
