 1977  Chilton's  AUTO REPAIR MANUAL

Restoring a vintage Torino, Cougar, Charger or Satellite?  Or maybe a Pacer, AMX, Monza or GTO?  Well, this huge issue of Chilton's Auto Repair Manual covering American cars from 1970 to 1977 has the how-to-do-it, step-by-step instructions, complete with illustrations and photographs to make the project easier.

There are dozens of obscure model automobiles from American manufacturers, along with the popular ones we all know and love so well. There's a troubleshooting section to assist you in getting that head-scratching problem resolved and bring your baby back to life.

The manual is BIG and measures 8" wide X 10 3/4" tall X 2 1/4" thick. Not the thin, single-model-only publication, this book covers a bunch of American cars... muscle and not-so-muscle.  An ideal addition for your restoration project vehicle!

That's right: Alpina has built a diesel BMW 3-series sedan and wagon duo and has taken them to the Frankfurt motor show to taunt scribes whose countries will probably not be getting them, and that likely includes the U.S. Even though the D3 Bi-Turbo is diesel powered, fuel economy was not the first thing on Alpina's mind.

Adult passengers are the most distracting, with 18% of drivers saying they have had a near miss or crashed because of their attention being drawn away by someone else in the car. A survey by the AA found adjusting the radio was the second biggest distraction, with 16% of drivers admitting they had narrowly avoided a collision or been in a crash while fiddling with the radio.
