1981 – 87 Monte Carlo Driver side front fender marker light assembly


This is an original used OEM side marker light assembly from a Monte Carlo, drivers side front fender. I removed this from a 1984 but this may fit 81-87 models based upon the part number. Part number on the lense is IGMIA and on the housing DOT AP 2 81 GUIDE 14 L.H .5972203 1 B MADE IN USA.  This may also fit other years and GM models but pease check. Pitures of what appears to be the 2011 US Spec Fiesta have leaked ahead of launch Ford have played a long game with the introduction to the US market of Europe’s favourite small car – the Ford Fiesta. They’ve run a very savvy social media campaign and had a whole heap of Fiestas running round the US in the hands of bloggers and other social media types – The Fiesta Movement – to get coverage for the Fiesta ahead of its launch at the LA Auto Show this week. But it looks like Ford in Canada have jumped the gun this afternoon and let loose pictures of the US spec Fiesta before its official reveal.

Former General Motors CEO Robert Stempel dies

Former General Motors CEO Robert Stempel, who led the automaker during a turbulent period of recession and restructuring in the early 1990s, has died at the age of 77. "Bob was a very popular chairman with employees, and his many accomplishments as a visionary engineer included leading the development of the catalytic converter, one of the great environmental advancements in auto history," GM said in a statement. "His knowledge of battery development led to the push for the EV1 electric car, and Bob continued to build his expertise in the electrification of the automobile after he left GM in 1992." Stempel died Saturday in Florida, the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press reported Monday night.
