Brand:Husqvarna Manufacturer Part Number:8000 97233 8000 86872

This Auction is for a 2001 Husqvarna CR250 complete running engine. (bike pictures are to show overall condition, for sale is engine only)

This complete good running engine comes with
-Top End : Cylinder, Piston, Head, Power Valves, Reed Cage, Engine side Carburetor Joint & and related Covers
-Bottom End : Crank, Transmission, Clutch, Kick Starter, Stator, Flywheel, & related covers (Counter shaft sprocket is NOT included)
Also included is the engine CDI (ignition box) also includes coil.

I bought this engine as a complete bike not far from me up in Austin, Texas from a guy who manages a motorcycle collision shop. He was a motorcycle mechanic and still rides motocross. This bike he sold me he rebuilt during a acl injury recovery. He said he pieced together the chassi (between a CR and WR and used 09 plastics) and rebuilt the engine, top end only, and told me when i bought he probably put about 25 hours on it.

I have ridden the bike for maybe 10 to 15 hours, twice at local MX tracks and maybe 8 or 9 times at a field (turn track) by my house. The bike performs great! this engine has a really good mid range that seems easier to manage then the Japanese bikes.

I personally have not done any major engine work i have changed the fluids however (redline 80W, Redline watter wetter collant) and replaced the counter shaft seal (purchased parts from Bills MC). I also have replaced the reeds with Boysen power reeds.

As for fitment, i only guarantee that it will fit a 2001 Husqvarna CR250, however the parts schematic shows the top end fitting both the CR and WR 250 models and shows the bottom end as the same  but also includes the WR 360 aswell. Please do your own fitment research if your using this engine for any application other then the 2001 husqvarna CR 250.

The engine does NOT leak, the counter shaft seal was replaced since photos were taken.
the clutch is showing some signs of wear, (bike creeps a little when revved with clutch pulled in and bike is in gear)
the transmission breather tube is missing.

Will Ship international via USPS priority mail, please message me for a price quote.

thanks for looking, message me if you have any questions or want more pics or need measurements. thanks!

It’s been revealed that the luxury concept of the new Peugeot 208 – the 208 XY – will be at the Paris Motor Show in production guise. At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Peugeot revealed a pair of concept cars based on the new 208 – the 208 GTi and the 208 XY. Yesterday we revealed that the new Peugeot 208 GTi was heading for this month’s Paris Motor Show ready for production, and now it seems it will be joined by its luxury sibling concept, also ready to go in to production – the Peugeot 208 XY.

Why aren’t Porsche 911 GT3 owners in the UK being compensated?

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

UK owners of the 911 GT3 aren’t getting compensation It does seem reasonable that if you buy a car you subsequently can’t use because of a design flaw, that the car maker pays you compensation for loss of use. So when Porsche ordered owners of the 911 GT3 to stop using their cars after a fire risk was revealed thanks to a faulty connector, it seemed certain owners would be in for some payback from Porsche. But despite offering US owners of the GT3 $2,000 a month for loss of use, up to $4,000 a month for those in the Middle East and €175 a day for German owners, UK owners of the GT3 aren’t getting a penny.

2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 revealed ahead of Paris 2012

Wed, 29 Aug 2012

Fiat has revealed the 2013 version of the Panda 4×4 ahead of a public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. The Fiat Panda might not be as cool as the Fiat 500 (oh, alright, it’s not cool at all), but it is a much better car than you might expect. Sadly, Fiat no longer build the Panda 100HP – as quick a way round urban traffic as you’ll ever find – but they are continuing with the Panda 4×4 and have just revealed a new version.
