Ford 2003-2004 SVT Cobra Mustang Long Block

*** Overheating Issue ***
 70k miles

Complete longblock out of a 2003 SVT Cobra Mustang. This motor started up and ran, sounded perfectly normal but after the engine reached operating temperature it would start burping coolant out of the radiator overflow tank. Instead of fighting it and throwing parts at it, I decided to just replace it with another motor. I would assume that it has a head gasket issue. However, the oil looked very good there was no sign of coolant and it did not smell of fuel.

To be safe, I would have it checked over fully and at the very least the head gaskets replaced. I am selling the entire long block as is and complete as shown with complete cylinder heads, timing equipment, exhaust manifolds, oil pan, dip stick, and all internals featuring the Forged Kellogg 8 Bolt crank, Manley H beam piston rods, forged pistons and cast iron block. Those parts alone are worth more than I am asking for the motor.

Motor will have to ship Truck freight due to its weight, if you are not able to pickup. Generally shipping will be around $250 to a commercial address but contact me and I can get a more exact quote. If you need delivery to a residence & you are not able to unload the pallet off the truck additional fees will be involved for both.

Motor features: Cast iron 4.6L Block, Forged Pistons, Kellogg Forged 8 bolt crank, Manley H Beam piston rods. Known to easily sustain over 800RWHP.

Any questions feel free to ask,  thanks!

The Porsche 911: the car that shouldn’t work but does

Fri, 17 Jun 2011

Humanity might struggle perpetually with questions like the meaning of life, but it does know one thing for sure: rear engine cars are bad. Like a sling shot, the heavy engine at the back is always trying to overtake the driver in front. Anyone can understand that.Yet the Porsche 911 - one of the fastest cars on the market, and one of the most enduring in history - has its engine at the back.
