Payment: Payment is expected within 2 days of auction end. Payments can be made by Paypal and major credit cards.

Shipping: Items will ship within 24 to 48 hours of payment being received unless otherwise noted. Standard shipping is by UPS Ground. Smaller items may be shipped via USPS. Large items will go by freight which will be noted in the auction. Please contact us for freight quotes if needed.

Sales Tax: There will be 6% Michigan sales tax for all purcheses in the state of Michigan. There is no sales tax if you are outside of Michigan.

Item Condition: Unless otherwise stated, we generally sell used auto parts. Used auto parts should be expected to have normal wear unless specifically stated otherwise. Wear items such as brake pads, wiper blades, clutches, LEDs, light bulbs, and other wear items are never guaranteed. These items may be included as a courtesy or for core purposes only. Paint condition is NEVER guaranteed on painted items unless otherwise stated. Cooling fins on radiators, condensors, oil and transmission coolers new or used are not guaranteed; some fins maybe damaged due to packaging or handling. Speedometers/Clusters are tested to see if gauages work, backlights are not tested or gauranteed unless specifically stated otherwise. Some auctions may contain file photos but will be noted as a file photo. All items are guaranteed to be in equal or better condition then the photo shows when a file photo is used.

Returns: Returns will be accepted within 14 days of auction close if wrong item is shipped, damaged or nonfunctional. All other returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and buyer must pay return shipping. Original shipping charges will not be refunded even if the item was listed with free shipping.

Freight Shipping: Anything that ships via freight can only be shipped to the Continental 48 States. We cannot ship freight to Hawaii or Alaska (see below). Buyer is to pay $30 crate/pallet fee on all freight shipments. We get cheap freight shipping through our freight network. We pass on the savings to the customer. If you need a freight quote, please contact us with your zipcode. All freight shipments will be quoted to a business with a forklift that can unload the shipment. Residential deliverys with liftgate are roughly $45 more.

Please allow us 2 to 4 days for pickup of all freight shipments. If you are arranging your own freight shipping, we require a bill of lading before pickup can take place.

Local Pickup: All items can be picked up between our business hours of 9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday, or 9:00AM to 12:00PM on Saturday.

International Freight (including Hawaii/Alaska): We can ship via freight to International destinations only if the buyer has a broker or freight forwarder that we can ship to in the Continental 48 USA States. The broker must handle the actual International Shipment along with all necessary paperwork.

National Motorists Association says get out of the way

This is a no-brainer to AutoWeek readers, but the National Motorists Association has launched a publicity campaign urging drivers to not block the left lane and cause traffic problems. The group has named June "Lane Courtesy Month," which coincides with higher traffic volumes for the summer. The group says a driver is lane-courteous when he or she is keeping clear of the left lane unless passing slower-moving vehicles, then moving back into the right lane as soon as possible.

CDN announces judging panel for Car Design Awards 2010

In line with the competition's aims, the judging panel comprises both Western and Chinese design chiefs, who will be awarding prizes to student entrants which include placements at an international design school. Chairing the panel for the Car Design Awards China 2010 competition will be Peter Stevens, the designer behind the McLaren F1 road car, Lotus Elan and Subaru Impreza P1 among others, and a visiting Professor of Vehicle Design at London's Royal College of Art.
