Driven: Renault Clio 4

Having pioneered the ‘small car, big-car features' trend with original version, Renault has sold over 12 million Clios since the model was launched in 1991. The box-fresh ‘91 Clio RT Renault displayed alongside its successors at the launch of the Clio 4 is testament to what a successful formula was struck. Will time be as kind to the new Clio 4?

Cross-country in a Corvette Stingray: Day One

Chevrolet brought a small fleet of 2014 Corvette Stingrays to Pebble Beach last week. Somehow, we were able to talk them into letting us drive one from Monterey back to Michigan. By the end of the trip, Autoweek will probably have logged more miles in the Stingray than anyone outside General Motors.

Northumbria University degree show 2009

Newcastle and cars: for many, that phrase brings to mind the 1971 British cult gangster movie ‘Get Carter', starring Michael Caine. The city isn't obviously associated with cars and the Trinity Centre car park famously used in the movie is about to be demolished as part of major regeneration work that the city has seen over the last 15 years. Northumbria University's magnificent new School of Design, which opened just two years ago, is a typical example of the exciting architecture now emerging in this city and CDN decided to pay a visit to catch up with this fast-developing UK design school.
