Polaris 800 CFI Engine- FREE SHIPPING!
Removed running from a 2014 Switchback Assault. The sled had a front end collision and suffered bulkhead damage and is being parted out. 125 PSI of compression on each cylinder. When I picked the machine from the compound it was at, the guy working there told me he knew the owner. Says he just had the engine rebuilt and only put a few miles on it before he wrecked it. I can’t confirm that that is was rebuilt or not. But, It did have a half a tank of fuel that was mixed with oil(common practice after a rebuild). The cylinders appear to be new (no oxidization on it) compared to the cases and head. Looks like a new OEM cylinder, and still has the OEM sticker on it with the part no. and 2D bar code. Comes exactly as shown in the pictures. Cylinder walls are minty with pronounced cross hatching when looking through the exhaust ports. Has the “Type 2” crankshaft in it. 3057 miles on the sled at the time of removal. Drayson Racing and RCA launch EV racing car contest
Thu, 06 Dec 2012Drayson Racing has launched a contest with the Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design program to design electric racing car concepts for the FIA's new Formula E series, which is set to start in 2014. The RCA's students are asked to present designs that explore new themes within the technical constraints as part of this course's curriculum. The previous Drayson Formula E concept was developed by Sergio Rinland who will be part of a series of workshops and lectures on aerodynamics, engineering packaging, production engineering and materials, giving students the technical knowledge to develop their designs.
