NEP 4 AWG Amplifier Wiring Kit!

We challenge you to find another wiring kit that can even measure up to our least expensive offering. This kit easily exceeds the specs almost every other kit available on the market. See for yourself... We make sure to publish every detail so you can see for yourself. There is a very good reason that most other companies do not show close-ups of the cable strands; That would show you how little metal they are using. They simply do not have enough strands to be considered 4 AWG. When evaluating what seems to be a great bargain... ask for detailed specifications before you make your purchase. There is absolutely no way to cut any more cost out of an installation kit without losing power transmission capabilities than what you see here with the NEP Kit.

NEP 4 GAUGE KIT INCLUDES:
(17) Ft. of True 4 Gauge Heavy Duty CCA Red Power Cable
(3) Ft. of True 4 Gauge Heavy Duty CCA Black Ground Cable
(10) Ft. of 12 Gauge Speaker Wire
(17) Ft. of Remote Turn-On wire
(1) 17 Ft. Premium RCA Cable
(1) Water Resistant Inline AGU Fuse Holder
(1) 100 AWG Gold Plated AGU Fuse
(2) Ring Terminal, 4Ga.
(2) Spade Terminal, 4Ga.
(5) Spade Terminal, 14-16Ga.
(2) Red Butt Connectors, 18-22Ga
(1) Red Butt Connector, 4Ga.
(3) Self-Tapping Screws
(20) 6" Cable Ties

Special Message to Buyers:

We have recently had a number of customers come to us for advice because the kits they bought elsewhere have not worked out very well. They have been reporting problems with their amplifiers overheating, power cutting in and out, and even a completely melted fuse holder. Each time the problem turned out to be undersized cable and incorrect fuse size; a combination found in almost every kit available here on eBay. This is unfortunate because it means buying a second, proper kit, and doing a second installation.
In some cases it has also resulted in destroying the amplifier.

You need to choose a power cable that is rated to handle the power you expect to draw through it. We have seen a lot of kits on the market that are supplied with massive fuses, even though their cables are much smaller than ours. It is dangerous and irresponsible to use a less capable kit with a larger fuse. It will melt! It will cause a fire! This kit is fused at 100 Amps because that is the limit of this cable at 17 feet of length. Most kits found on eBay should technically have a 40 or 60 Amp fuse, however they come with up to a 150 Amp fuse.
What is that about?? The sellers do not claim any responsibility for failures or damage. What about safety? Good luck with that...
100 Amps is the MAX you can expect a cable of this size to handle. Installing a larger fuse on a thinner cable is a recipe for disaster. How many amps does your amplifier specification require?? Why would you want a fuse three times larger than specified in the manual? You should be looking for a fuse that is at most 20 amps larger than your amplifier spec requires. A fuse that doesn't blow when your amplifier needs it to cut power will not protect your amplifier. Please take a good look at the cable you are about to buy. If the details are not published, there is a good chance it is because the cable does not even meet 4 AWG requirements.

Another problem coming to our attention is bad cable crimping. This creates a bad connection. A poorly crimped cable terminal is as bad or worse than using an insufficiently sized cable. It is not easy to attach the terminals without the proper tools, so that is why we offer free crimping on our Premium Kit. We charge a small fee for crimping any of our other kits, please contact us for details.

We take pride in our business, and will give you honest answers to any question you may have. We would also like to give you the information needed to make an educated decision on a product like this.

Please look through our feedback. All we sell are our amplifier kits!

Wed, 11 Jul 2012

A mildly revised Mazda MX-5 for 2013 will be launched later this year with a new nose and tweaks to the brakes and throttle systems. It’s probably a bit of an exaggeration to call the 2013 Mazda MX-5 a facelift. In truth, it’s only really getting a slightly modified nose.
