This auction is for a 61-63 Pontiac aluminum timing chain cover with the studs for the water pump still on it. The part number is 548690. The date code is B-1-3 for February 1 1963. It also has GM4 on it.This is a original piece and not a remake. It will fit 389 and 421 motors. It came off my 63 drag car. It will also fit go on Grand Prix Ventura Star Chief. I left the oil seal in it so you can get the right seal for it. This a great restoration piece for a late 62 or early 63. There are no cracks or breaks. These are getting hard to find. Infiniti making noise about its new M35 hybrid

Infiniti has just announced that its new M35h will be the world's first hybrid with a standard audible pedestrian warning system to alert pedestrians when the car is running silently on EV mode. Infiniti calls the system VSP, or 'Approaching vehicle sound for pedestrians'. It uses a range of distinctive sounds to alert pedestrians via a speaker built in to the front bumper.    Instead of reproducing the sound of an internal combustion engine, the Infiniti produces a range of beeps.

It's a crossover with a twist, mixing the best bits of coupes, roadsters and SUVs, apparently. It's also, worryingly, designed to appeal to a very definite demographic: kite surfers aged between 30 and 40.
