SET OF VINYL TOP MOULDINGS FOR A 1970 71 72 BUICK SKYLARK  GS 400 STAGE 1 STAGE 2 .  THESE STAINLESS MOLDINGS ARE SUPER NICE NO DENTS SCRATCHES OR IMPERFECTIONS. I REMOVED THE OLD PAINT REMOVED DENTS  AND SCRATCHES AND BUFFED THESE FOR HOURS. I THEN REMOVED COMPOUND WITH PAINT PREP AND SCUFFED THE PAINTED AREA.  I THEN  CAREFULLY MASKED AND SPRAYED WITH SEM  BLACK SELF ETCHING PRIMER TO INSURE ADHESION . THEN TOP COATED WITH SEM TRIM BLACK.   I HAVE DONE MANY OF THESE BEFORE AND THE BLACK PAINTED AREA WILL NOT FLAKE OFF. ABOUT 8 HOURS WORK AND  40 DOLLARS IN MATERIAL. THE CHROME CONNECTORS ARE VERY GOOD BUT NOT PERFECT SHOW QUALITY. SOME MINOR PITTING IS VISIBLE. PROBABLY  THE BEST YOU WILL FIND WITHOUT BEING RE CHROMED. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED OR YOUR MONEY BACK. THANKS PAT.

Tue, 22 Apr 2008

By Guy Bird Motor Shows 22 April 2008 05:34 Only a fool wandering around this week's Beijing motor show would still dismiss China as some also-ran automotive market full of rip-off designs and outdated ‘new’ cars based on old Western designs. While all of those clichés were still in evidence at the Chinese auto show, the copycat mentality is much less obvious than even a year ago at last year's Shanghai show. And every western car exec CAR spoke to was in awe of the upward sales trajectory that means China is still the place to do business in 2008.Yes, there are still some odd automotive fish, usually small ‘three-box’ saloon in shape such as the Chinese market only Citroen C-Elysee and the VW Lavida (a Jetta/Bora Plus car with less style).
