U.S. Transportation Department opens probe of 2010 Toyota Prius brakes

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Thursday that it is opening a formal investigation of the 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid to determine whether the vehicle suffers momentary loss of braking capability while traveling over bumpy surfaces. NHTSA, an agency that is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation, has received 124 consumer complaints, including four reports of crashes.

Lamborghini has finally confirmed the Gallardo is now at the end of its life, with the 2013 Gallardo the ‘Final Gallardo’. McLaren is producing a 12C model that will slot in between the “basic” 12C and the all-out racing GT3 version called the 12C GT Sprint. It will be a track-focused supercar with enhanced suspension, cooling and aerodynamics. The GT Sprint starts with the basic McLaren 12C.
