Mon, 10 May 2010The Aston Martin V12 Vantage - now a regular AM model We love the Aston Martin V12 Vantage, even though we’ve only actually driven the V8 Vantage (4.3 & 4.7 versions). But we know from the difference the 4.7 made to the V8 what a great car the V12 must be to drive. And we’ll get our hands on one at some point soon.

While the car's classic long-bonnet, cab-back profile and short overhangs should have pleased the eye, the BMW's sheer frontal mass made its proportions seem out of balance. The application of the company's then-new ‘flame surfacing' form language also generated a visual business that seemed out of place on something as conceptually simple as a roadster.
U.S. sales, aided by General Motors, show some real spark in October
Wed, 04 Nov 2009U.S. light-vehicle sales--bolstered by General Motor Co.'s first gain in 21 months--declined less than 1 percent in October as the industry showed signs of a recovery without the aid of government incentives. The drop was the smallest this year and made October the year's strongest month aside from August, which received a lift from the federal cash-for-clunkers program.
