If you need to rebuild the water pump on your DB4, DB5, DB6, or DBS6 this is the only way to go. We rebuild all the pumps in our shop using this kit. It has a redesigned high flow impeller that pushes more water than the standard straight bladed version. The impeller has a ceramic sealing face. The kit contains everything else that you might need including the bearings, redesigned water seal, circlips, spindle, hardware, and gasket. As long as your housing is OK you can reclaim any water pump. New pumps are available but are hugely expensive. If you don't feel comfortable rebuilding your pump, we can perform that service here for you. Please let us know if you have any questions. Opel Ampera plug-in hybrid design sketches leak out

A Spanish website claims to have stumbled across the technical design sketches at a European patent office and – if authentic – they spill the beans on the new plug-in hybrid electric concept car that’s bound for a showroom near you within two years. The Ampera is Opel/Vauxhall’s version of the Chevrolet Volt, the breakthrough car that could just save GM if it survives its current crisis.

Gone, sadly, is the ingenious sandwich floor construction, replaced by a conventional front-drive platform. The result is a reduction in height by 48mm to 1557mm, while length has grown by 89mm and width by 11mm.

Lovers of James Bond films will be totally familiar with the iconic Aston Martin DB5 Bond drove in a number of films, and in particular the Aston Martin DB5 which was the star of Goldfinger. Bond anoraks will tell you that the ‘real’ James Bond – the one Fleming wrote about in the Bond series of books – drove a Bentley, but Bond was given an Aston Martin to drive in the Goldfinger book as he chased Auric Goldfinger across Europe.
