This is a beautiful restored 1950-51 Mercury deluxe Hi-Fi radio manufactured by Colonial. Servicing of this radio included cleaning and lubrication, new capacitors, great working vibrator, tested tubes, new fuse link with fuse and eye terminal (for easy installation) and two working dial lamps. All of the mechanics function smoothly including the station presets, station selections and manual tuning. The radio plays and sounds great with excellent reception and sensitivity up and down the tuning scale with good tone and strong volume. The four stage tone control (lo noise, hi fidelity, bass, normal) functions fine and adjusts the tone accordingly, as it should. Not only does the radio play well but it is in beautiful cosmetic condition with excellent original knobs, polished push buttons and very nice chrome rear knobs.
