Up for sale is a clean and functioning KNS-81 RNAV/Glideslope. Removed in excellent working condition. The display is crisp, the face is excellent, and buttons and knobs work with no skips or repeats.
Coupled with either a KN63 or KN62A DME, you can complete the RNAV function of this radio. Unlike the KN53, the KNS81 provides the ARINC output for both lateral and vertical deviation that is compatible with most GPS outputs for a shared indicator such as a KI-206 or a GI-106A. The KN53 only provides the ARINC Vertical, and one would have to use a KN72 to get the ARINC lateral. Tray and connector is included. |

The event, at the Environmental Protection Agency's laboratory in Ann Arbor, Mich., allowed journalists to get behind the wheel of these test cars. It was part of a competition among 16 North American universities to design, develop and build vehicles that are forward-looking yet practical.

Sat, 31 Jul 2010The 2011 Mercedes S63 AMG get the new 5.5 Litre BiTurbo V8 Mercedes intend phasing out the much loved – and wonderfully linear – 6.2 litre, naturally aspirated V8 which graces AMG Mercedes models across the range, from C Class to S Class and E class to CL Class. Such a wonderfully exhilarating engine, it’s a real shame to see it bow out under the pressure of ridiculous CO2 and economy targets. So the 2011 Mercedes S63 AMG gets a new engine.

Thu, 26 Feb 2009Rendering of the next generation (2010) BMW 6 Series - a sleeker and lower car than the current generation Not due until late 2010, the next generation 6 Series looks set to be a lower, sleeker car than the current model. In fact, it looks like BMW may have found a use for a lot of the work they did on the shelved BMW CS project, which was to be BMW’s A7/CLS challenger until the project was shelved a few months ago. Current opinion is that the next generation Convertible will stick with the rag-top, but recent spy shots seem to show a pretty bulky roof camouflage, leading to speculation that BMW may go the folding tin-top roof with the next generation 6-series.
