This is a cockpit voice recorder used on various types of commercial aircraft. This one has a parts tag showing removal from DQ-FJE on 7/17/03 during tear down and has been in storage since. It is in good condition without damage to the face or connector. All controls are in place and move easily. The data tag reads FAIRCHILD AVIATION RECORDERS, CONTROL UNIT, PART NO. 93A152-20, MODEL NO. A152. It is not tagged and I have no way to test it so it well be listed AS IS. London underpass to hold flood water
Mon, 10 Feb 2014A PEDESTRIAN UNDERPASS is to be turned into an emergency pond to hold hundreds of thousands of litres of floodwater threatening homes and businesses in south London. The Purley Cross underpass will be used to hold water pumped from around 400 under-threat buildings in parts of Kenley and Purley and to stop a water treatment works which supplies tens of thousands of homes from flooding, Croydon Council said. The authority said the plan to use the underground footway to hold around 600,000 litres of water from tonight was approved after its "primary" pond at Purley Depot overflowed last night.
