This is a  Burns ' Aero Seat ' from the Burns Aero Co Ltd  in Burbank California.   We have 2 available (this auction is for 1).

Which aircraft - Helicopter, Cargo, fixed wing, Attack - we are unsure.   Structurally sound - the color may have been done after the seat was retired from service We do remember seeing these in a Navy grey and Army green before - not in blue.  


Many uses for this type of seat are:

Waiting area of an aircraft related business

HONDA has showcased its next generation hydrogen fuel cell technology, which is the first to fit entirely within a traditional engine bay. A 60% increase in energy density and a 33% reduction in size have jointly allowed the creation of the new Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) concept, which has a range of roughly 300 miles and can be refuelled in about three minutes. With all its components in a single location, the FCEV benefits from huge freedom in design for the rest of the car.

The Porsche 911 Speedster will debut at Paris We were beginning to think that Porsche would keep the Porsche 911 Speedster under wraps until the Paris Motor Show kicks off proper next week. But in the end they couldn’t resist unveiling the big brother to the Porsche Boxster Spyder (a Speedster in all but name) with a week to go ’til Paris.
