Up for sale is a brand new C5 & C6 CORVETTE JACK POINT LIFT PLATE. Simply remove your floor jack's cradle and slide this Corvette Jack Point Lift Plate in its place. Then locate your Corvette's jacking points in the frame, insert the tip and jack it up. Instructions included. The puck diameter O.D. is 2 5/8" and is 3/4" thick, the lower pin is 1 1/8" O.D. and is 3/4" long, that fits into your jack. The top oblong tab that fits into the frame is 5/8" X 1 1/4" and is 5/8" tall. Purchased from mamotorworks.com for $20

Nissan Leaf electric vehicle headed for U.S. market in 2010

Nissan has taken the wraps off its production-bound electric vehicle, named Leaf, that is plans to sell in Japan, the United States and Europe. The Leaf seats five and measures 175 inches long--about the same size as a Versa sedan. It uses an 80-kilowatt AC electric motor and draws from a laminated lithium-ion battery pack--the same type of batteries used by cellular telephones and laptop computers.
