Weird Chevrolet pickup roadster hot rod probably inspired the SSR

Here's a thought: If you've ever wanted to be buried in what you're driving, it's a boon if your car is already shaped like a coffin. Behold this "cute little roadster," which resembles the unholy union of a Ford T-Bucket and a mechanical pencil lead dispenser and probably will make its way into a Jimmy Buffet video. Vorsteiner dresses, tunes up the BMW 1M

Vorsteiner debuted its GTX-V 1M Program for the BMW 1M coupe. It features a front spoiler, rear diffuser, trunklid, exhaust and forged wheels. The front lip and trunklid are made from what Vorsteiner calls Autoclave Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber.

It's 510 Again!

Any sports or sporty car driver worth their gear oil will remember the mighty Datsun 510 - the front-engine, rear-drive coupe, sedan and wagon that gave racers on a budget something that was just as fun to pilot as BMWs and Alfas of the day. From 1968 to 1973 you could have as much fun as any of those guys with fancy European rides. While a little more boxy than its competitors, the 510 was nonetheless nimble and extraordinarily fun to drive.
