Here's a nice used, non-DOT, Tung Sol 224 flasher for your '66 Corvette!  The 224 flasher is rated for 2-lamp applications and is considered correct for late build 1966 Corvettes.  Bid with confidence as this part has been bench tested and comes with a no-DOA warranty!

This is a the blue plastic housing version of the non-DOT 224 flasher considered correct for late cars.  The top of the can is embossed with the mfgr/model data and its SAE vs. DOT compliance. Good original flashers from the era are getting HARD to find!

Top Indian cars fail crash safety tests

SEVERAL of India's most popular small cars have failed independent crash tests, a global car safety watchdog said. David Ward, head of the London car-safety watchdog Global NCAP, which performed the crash tests, said the car industry in India lacked adequate safeguards. Four of five small cars popular on the Indian market last year, including the famous Tata Nano, failed the crash tests.

The Leaf, which was unveiled earlier this summer, will receive its world show debut but this is the first time we've seen the new Nissan Land Glider – a narrow electric vehicle concept that leans into corners.The Land Glider is an urban transport solution, Nissan's take on how we could whizz around town in a decade's time. It has a cigar-thin body with room for just one passenger and Nissan says its width will reduce congestion and make it easy to park.

New Porsche Macan leaks out Porsche has been on a mission to raise interest in the new Macan, and we’ve had teaser photos of the Macan and video of the new Macan playing on the sand dunes. Now we get the first undisguised photos. The Macan photos (above) are from Auto Motor und Sport magazine and leaked out online with almost three weeks to go until the Macan gets its official reveal in Los Angeles.
