For sale is a vintage NOS red faceted glass dash light. Needs a 5/8 size hole to mount into. I think its 16mm metric threads. High polish crome finish lens and bezel. Socket size is 11/16 but works well. Great for hot rods, fire trucks, race cars oil pressure warning light. 12v bulb included. S/H 4.00 I will combine shipping. Sold as is. Norwegian EV maker Think files for bankruptcy
Thu, 23 Jun 2011Tiny electric car maker Think Global AS filed for bankruptcy today in its home market of Norway after attempts to keep the company going through recapitalization and restructuring failed, the company said in a statement. It is the fourth time Think has collapsed financially in its 20-year history. "We needed some additional funding and although we had interested investors they were not able to come to the table quickly enough," Think spokesman James Andrew told Automotive News Europe.
McLaren worker critical after crash
Tue, 24 Jun 2014A MCLAREN WORKER was left critically injured after the supercar he was driving crashed and left him impaled on a fence post in West Sussex The man, who has not been identified, left the A285 at Duncton and rolled in a car reported to be a McLaren 650S. Sussex Police said he was airlifted from the crash site to St George's Hospital in Tooting, south-west London, with critical injuries. A spokesman for Woking-based McLaren said his family were with him in hospital, adding: "Our thoughts are with our friend and colleague, and his family." A message on McLaren's Facebook page said: "We are all thinking of our friend and colleague following a serious accident on Friday.
