"Dial Light"

4 Dash Instrument Engine Indicator Lights

A total of 4 lights/brackets with red lenses.  "Dial Light, New York, NY"  is stamped on the inside of each bracket.  One of the lights has a socket attached with a bulb.  A second bulb with socket is included.  I am not sure if the bulbs are original or someone put them in the sockets.  I know nothing about them other than that there definitely appear NOS and are in good condition.  They all measure 2 inches tall and the faceted red lenses are 5/8 inches wide with the chrome bezel surround making it 0.75 inches wide total.  The "hole" in the back of the red lense measures 0.5 inches wide.   There is one  loose socket and bulb look like they came off one of the brackets/lights.  There is a small rivet that appears to have ruptured on this one light.  Otherwise there is a slight whitish oxidation on all the aluminum brackets that looks like it could be removed.  Overall in great condition

Federal regulators have opened a safety investigation of as many as 865,000 General Motors SUVs from 2005-07 model years after complaints that inaccurate fuel-gauge readings led to stalling and one accident. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's preliminary evaluation is looking at 2005-07 Buick Rainiers, 2005-07 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 360s, 2005-06 Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT 370s, 2005-07 GMC Envoy 360s, 2005-06 GMC Envoy XL 370s and 2005-07 Saab 9-7Xs. NHTSA said in a posting Friday that it has received 668 complaints of inaccurate fuel-gauge readings, 58 of which involved stalling vehicles.

Porsche 911 RS models through the ages – on video

Fri, 26 Mar 2010

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 26 March 2010 06:35 Porsche GB has issued a rather cool video detailing the history of the 911 RS models – filmed in situ at the new Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone.Unlike most corporate videos, this one is remarkably free of commercial sells – although we should remember its presenter will be a tad biased! But we're posting it here because we reckon it's a great video guide to the most hardcore of 911s, tracing the history of the lightweight Renn Sport specials all the way back from the 1973 original up to the present day.>> Rip-off or rip-rorting? First Sight: Citroën C4

Fri, 16 Jul 2004

The Citroen C4 is a new car that shall be formally unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September as the replacement for the Xsara that has been quietly competing in the European C-class for six years. The C4 was previewed in Geneva with the C4 Sport (a WRX themed concept car based very closely on the production 3-door C4) and less directly with the C6 Lignage Citroen concept car of Geneva 1999 which introduced many of the new car's exterior and interior design themes on a larger vehicle concept. Sitting between the C3 and C5 in Citroen's range, the C4 platform will also be shared by Citroen's partner Peugeot for the 307 replacement.
