Carburetor cooling fan for a 1974 -1978 Fiat X1/9. It has a 3" outlet, where as the 79 & 80 had an integral reducer for a 2 1/2" outlet. Designed to help prevent vapor lock caused by the carburetor getting hot in slow summer driving. This item does NOT include any of the ductwork. You must reuse the ductwork already in your car. Toyota ME.WE Concept: It’s an egalitarian EV
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Based on the electric running gear of the Toyota i-Road we saw at Geneva (but with a full set of wheels) Toyota and Massaud have created an urban vehicle that takes transport back to the basics; a 2CV for the 21st century, perhaps, or a grown up home-made kart seems to be where the ME.WE is at. The construction of the ME.WE comprises a tubular aluminium chassis and a pile of interchangeable polypropylene panels that can change the function of the ME.We from city car to convertible to pickup to 4×4 (thanks to electric motors on both axles) and is, by any definition, transport and not a car you’d have to make a statement. Inside is just as basic with a single dial for the instruments, flat surfaces made from bamboo (designers love a bit of bamboo), batteries for the electric motors under the floor and you have to store any luggage on the roof under a weatherproof cover.
Brands Hatch drive 'was wicked fun'
Tue, 17 Jun 2014A MAN WHO DROVE his girlfriend's car on to the former Formula One circuit at Brands Hatch during a race has boasted that the stunt was "wicked fun". Jack Cottle, 21, steered Saskia Fisk's white Volkswagen Polo into the middle of a Fun Cup race at the Kent circuit on Saturday. He was arrested yesterday on suspicion of false imprisonment after footage filmed from the back seat by his friend, Zac Copson, showed Ms Fisk apparently screaming in terror.
