>>  Item Description
This used Ford crankshaft oil slinger is extremely hard to find in NOS or good used condition.

This used slinger is in very good condition, but it does have two very minor defects. They will not affect the operation or use of this part in any way. There is a minor indentation and a small wave. They are visible in the last several pictures if you look closely. In one, just above my Mach 1 Motorsports water mark, you can see a tiny depression.

It fits most Ford small blocks from 1962-1972. This includes the 69-70 Boss 302, the 289 HiPo and the rest of the 221, 260, 289, 302 line-up. This part is VERY hard to find NOS lately.

The part number is C3OZ-6310-B.

This fits most Fords that ran small block V8's during the

62-64 Galaxie, Fairlane, Falcon (2V) w/ 221, 260, 289;

65-68 260, 289 and 289 HiPo;

68-72 All Ford with 302, includes Mustang, Fairlane, Torino, Cougar, Comet, Montego

69-70 Boss 302

PSA Peugeot Citroen is under new design leadership this week. As of 4 January 2010, Gilles Vidal has taken over as design director for Peugeot and Thierry Metroz is the new pencil wielder-in-chief at Citroen. Both will report to Jean-Pierre Ploué, who remains design director for the PSA group.

GM's historic Willow Run plant closes

Fri, 24 Dec 2010

After 68 years of arming the nation and putting America on wheels, the Willow Run manufacturing plant in southeast Michigan closed on Thursday. The 5-million-square-foot powertrain plant, owned by Motors Liquidation Corp., the remnants of the former General Motors Corp., has fallen victim to GM's 2009 bankruptcy and subsequent restructuring. About 300 workers left at the plant will either “retire, transfer to another campus or go on layoff,” said Chris Lee, a spokesman for the reorganized General Motors Co.

Defending an old-school Land Rover

Mon, 15 Oct 2012

I don't know how to respond today after seeing on our very own homepage that the Land Rover people will bring the successor of its beloved Defender to the United States market. The Defender is a vehicle about which “lust” is an insufficiently weak noun or verb; current and vintage Defenders elicit something beyond an emotive response. They are visceral.
