Citroen C4 (2011): first official pictures

This is the new Citroen C4, the French car company's latest rival for the ever-present VW Golf, Vauxhall Astra and forthcoming Mk3 Ford Focus. Citroen hopes to challenge the trio with a mix of class-leading interior space and a gadget-laden cabin, and the new C4 will be unveiled at the Paris motor show this September, before UK sales start in early 2011. Yup, and there’s some Megane Coupe in there too.

Ralph Gilles talks past, present and SRT future

Ralph Gilles -- SRT boss, Chrysler vice president of design, curator of something called the "Man Van," has become the public face of Chrysler performance, carrying the legacy of Firepower engines and 428 Coronets and the Dodge Viper RT/10 into the future with the Challenger, Charger and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8s. Since "unofficially" helping form it in 2003, Gilles has seen SRT transformed into Chrysler's most coherent performance strategy since Plymouth Rapid Transit, a company-wide force so much greater than the flagship Dodge Viper. He was there from the beginning.

Car Design of the Year 2010

Today is the last day to cast your vote for your favorite car designs from 2010. Your votes will decide which design teams will be presented an award by Car Design News at the Geneva motor show in March, with prizes being given to the best vehicle in the concept and production car categories.
