Here we have a professionally re-plated rear License Plate Light for the 1969-1970 Mustang.  The plating has been done by a plating shop that has been around since the mid-50s and the plating shows great on the light .  The wiring is OEM original and includes a OEM original wire sleeve..  The OEM Grommet looks great on the wire.  The OEM glass lens appeared to be in great shape, and I included a new lens gasket and bulb.  Finally included are 2 new concourse lamp hanging screws from AMK (Made in USA).  This is a very nice restored lamp and will look great in concourse restorations or for someone who enjoys having Ford Factory original parts.

Letter&Number Stamping:
SAE-L-69-MG
Lamp Housing: FoMoCo
Door Retainer: FoMoCo
Glass: FoMoCo
Black Wire: FoMoCo

The Fact is that NOS License plate lights are almost impossible to find these days on eBay, or other vendors for 1969-1970 Mustangs.  The License Plate Lights that come-up for sale are just Ford Galaxie"service parts" Lights and are different from Mustang light in design....    What I'm selling is a true Ford Factory License Plate Light with all number/letter stamping.  Restored back to Factory condition.  It would cost much more time and money to purchase a OEM light and have it professionally re-plated and get all the accessories that I listed above.  Anyone can paint a light, but plating brings the light to a whole another level.  Worth the investment for your Pony.

Don't settle for foreign reproductions, keep your Mustang real with Factory Ford Parts.
Keep searching you won't find another Factory 1969-1970 license plate light in this condition on eBay....

Price estimates for making the license plate light look FoMoCo Factory again:
This is how much will cost, if you plan on doing your own license plate light restoration.

Purchasing a good OEM license plate light:  $25-30
Professionally re-platting the license plate light:  $80-90
Purchasing accessories to complete the light:  $20-30
Time: Finding a good plating shop and driving fuel prices:  $5-10

Chevrolet Volt visits the wind tunnel

Thu, 13 Dec 2007

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 13 December 2007 10:00 Back in January the Volt was easily the surprise of this year’s Detroit motor show. Chevrolet reckoned its radical electric four-seater was such a breakthrough that it would transform the way we drive when it arrived in showrooms by the end of the decade. And it’s just announced that the production model will be significantly more efficient at scything through the air: the Volt has been sent to GM’s wind tunnel where Chevrolet’s aerodynamicists has smoothed off some of its blunt surfaces to create a shape that is 30 percent more effective at cutting cleanly through the air at speed than the original concept.

Skoda Citigo Sport LOOKS Sporty

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

The Skoda Citigo Sport has been revealed as a sporty take on Skoda’s little city car, with more aggressive looks and lowered suspension. So Skoda are making a virtue out of the lack of any power boost for the new Citigo Sport by calling it the ‘Seemingly Powerful’ Citigo with sporty styling, lowered suspension and new interior. It looks the part, it just doesn’t go any better than the standard Citigo with its 1.0 litre 60PS engine.

Renault Laguna

Mon, 04 Jun 2007

Renault has released photos of the all-new upper-medium segment Laguna five-door hatchback and estate that will compete with the Ford Mondeo, Peugeot 407 and Volkswagen Passat in European markets. The new Laguna is a conservative evolution of the themes introduced in 2000 with the second generation Laguna: the hatchback moving further towards a sedan-like profile, while the estate model has a more sporting character from its steeply raked wraparound rear screen and horizontal lamps. The Laguna's most notable design features include the angular front and rear lamp design, and a distinctive plunging shoulder line, which is echoed in the sweeping IP form.
