A leaked picture of the new Hyundai i40 / Sonata Hyundai has released sketches of the i40 as a tease ahead of the launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month, but unfortunately for them we’ve received the picture you see at the top – and those in the photo gallery at the bottom – that show the real deal. Which sort of takes the edge off the ‘Stylised’ sketches Hyundai has released. We’re sure Saab don’t see it that way, having no doubt slaved away for the last year to get business back to some sense of normality after the GM sale debacle, but from outside that’s how it seems. Still, the flurry of activity heading in to Geneva is good to see.

The new XC90 ‘s clever packaging, good looks, technology and toys certainly seem to offer a beguiling package for a premium family SUV, although the price is likely to be a touch stronger than the current model.
