Mercedes-Benz C-Class previewed in new video, images [w/Video]

Mercedes-Benz has given us the first look at its next-generation C-Class, the W205, in a new video and interior photos. The images show the new model shares many design cues with the CLA-Class, such as the center stack, IP and steering wheel, while design cues from the S-Class include the COMAND system's control with added touchpad. The interior also features a heads-up display and an HVAC system called Air Balance.

Police have seized over 700 badges believed to have been stolen from cars in the Coventry area. 49-year-old badge thief Maxine-Ann Sokil was caught out when a potential buyer recognised a badge from Coventry Transport Museum on eBay. BMW's Project i – an internal codename for a possible sub-brand dedicated to green urban driving – has been in the works for some time. The Vision EfficientDynamics concept, unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Show, showcased some of the lightweight technological advances and design thinking behind the forthcoming zero-emission cars. Recently the firm held a Project i event, where it released teaser sketches of the first vehicle to result from the project, the Megacity Vehicle (MCV) – a four-seater electric car with a rear-mounted engine and rear wheel drive.
