Original Jaguar E-Type Warm Air Tube for all Series 2 EX/EM Cars -- OEM, NOS This is an original tube as fitted to all EX/EM Series 2 E-Type engines. It goes between the front of the air cleaner and the crossover. The cars came from the factory with this black 'paper' tube which did not hold up well to oil, gas, etc. so they were mostly replaced with silver metal tubes. Eventually the factory went to a black plastic-coated tube. Black paper is correct for originality as is black plastic. 2" D x 20" L. See 13 in diagram.I am unloading my
collection of parts accumulated as spares during a complete restoration of a
1970 SII roadster. The car has been sold and the parts are no longer
needed. Most of these
spare parts were collected because they are becoming more and more rare and I
knew some day I would need them. |

2014 Acura MDX gets new platform, FWD option
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Acura gave us the full rundown of the 2014 MDX SUV on Wednesday. The seven-passenger people-mover goes on sale tomorrow, and for the first time includes a base front-wheel-drive version which stickers at $43,185. The Acura MDX has a new platform for 2014 that's lower and narrower, but with a 2.8-inch longer wheelbase.
A tribute to Ermanno Cressoni

Ermanno Cressoni or 'Arch' as many of his designers affectionately referred to him, passed away on Thursday 30th June in Milan after battling with cancer for 13 months.'Arch' was a reference in car design and his contribution to our profession was much more important than stated in the press. As Alfa Romeo Centro Stile Director he directed the Alfetta berlina, the famous chrome GTV grille from the early seventies is attributed to him, as is the Giuglietta sedan of the late seventies, the Alfa 33, the 75, and many of the racing Alfas we adore from the late 60s and early 70s.
